A review on this site describes how a dating app works and who it tends to suit. It is not a recommendation tailored to you. Two people reading the same review can reasonably reach opposite conclusions, because the app that suits someone depends on where they live, what they want, and how much time they have.

The number you have to check yourself

How many people near you are using an app. This is the factor that decides most outcomes. It changes constantly, and it cannot be seen from outside the company. A review written from a large city is not evidence about a small town, and any site claiming to know the activity level in your area is guessing.

What each tier adds, not what it costs

Subscription costs change by country, by age, by device and by the week. A figure published on a page is wrong for most readers most of the time, and stating a wrong figure about a real company is a false claim rather than a minor inaccuracy. The reviews describe what each tier adds and where the free tier stops, which is the part that stays true. For a current figure, the app store listing in your own country is the only reliable source.

Totals do not answer the question

Published user numbers are marketing figures. They are counted in different ways by different companies, and none of them describe how many people are active in your area this month. A small app that is busy locally beats a large one that nobody opens near you, and totals do not tell you which of those you have.

No numbers, and no scores

No outcome figures, no reply rates, no match counts and no scores out of five. Producing an outcome figure would require a controlled experiment, and compressing a review into a number would hide the reasoning that makes it useful.
